The Beam Flasher (ビームフラッシャー, Bīmu Furasshā) is the transformation item used by Choichiro Hikari to transform into Ultraman Joneus. It is also the transformation item for Elek, Loto, Amia, and Ultraman Titas to transform into their Ultra forms.

To transform, Choichiro pulls his Beam Flasher from the side of his belt and rises his right hand with the Beam Flasher up to the sky, after this, he places it into his forehead, beginning his transfomation into Ultraman Joneus. Joneus grows up into the size of a giant after the transformation is complete.
The later transformation sequence features Choihiro shouting "Ultra Change!" (ウルトラチェンジ!, Urutora Chenji!) with the transformation sequence being almost the same, except that Joneus doesn't have a grow up sequence after the henshin is complete.
