- Ultraman Great is the first Ultra to have his series to be produced outside Japan, followed by Ultraman Powered.
- He is the first Ultra to debut in the Heisei era and also the first Ultra to have his series to be produced outside Japan.
- Unlike most other Ultras whose suits are made of rubber, Great's suit is made out of spandex.
- When Great returned in Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy, his suit design bore a greater resemblance to prototype suits used during pre-production of Ultraman: Towards the Future, with significant differences in the lining patterns on the neck, shoulders, and legs.[2]
