Windom (ウインダム, Uindamu), also called Windam, is one of Ultraseven's three Capsule Monsters that first appeared in Ultraseven.

As one of STORAGE's Anti-Monster Robots, it is characterized as Speed type (スピード型, Supīdo-gata).

History

Ultraseven

One of the Capsule Monsters that appears from a capsule thrown by Dan Moroboshi when he cannot transform into Ultraseven to fight the enemy in his place. Windom attacks by firing its Laser Shot from the red lamp on its forehead and tackling enemies while spinning both of its arms.

It was first seen on Earth in its first battle against the Alien Cool. It shot down two of their small saucers, but was called back by Dan after it was weakened when one of the saucers fired at its lamp, Windon’s weak spot.^{[The Invisible Challenger]}

Windom’s next appearance was in a battle against the Alien Cannan, but it ended up being controlled by Kanan and attacking Ultraseven instead. After Ultraseven revived Windom with his Awakening Beam, it tried to fight against Alien Kanan again but was defeated, and Dan called Windom back to its capsule.^{[The Forsaken Earthman]}

Windom’s third appearance was in a battle against the Alien Guts where it was overwhelmed by Alien Guts’ teleportation abilities. Windom accidentally destroyed a building when its punch missed and while it stood dazed and confused, one of Alien Guts’ saucers appeared. Dan ordered Windom to return to his capsule, but the order came too late and it exploded in flames after being hit by the saucer’s beam attack.^{[The Seven Assassination Plan (Part 1)]}

The second robot developed by STORAGE. It is twice as fast as Sevenger. It mobilizes at high speed by using the propulsion jets all over its body. The high power output it boasts leads to high energy consumption, and the battery’s charging time of 4 days made it difficult to be activated for the field. Its first attack against Telesdon was achieved by enhancin g its electric power using the fragments of Neronga, an idea from Yuka. After that, by utilizing how Neronga enhances electricity, a high-powered fast charging battery was developed, allowing Windom to operate for a long period.

Ultraman Decker

Windom was one of three Dimension Card Monsters that belongs to Kanata Asumi. While the monster Red King was rampaging in Katsumi City, Kanata summoned Windom's card, and the monster materialized to assist GUTS-Select in fending off the monster. However after striking its adversary with a shoulder tackle, Windom immediately returned to its card, leaving Red King to face a new challenger, in the form of Grace the Gregore.^{[Standing Tall for Someone Special]}

Since then, Windom was used by Kanata to assist Decker on multiple occasions:

• Windom was summoned (along with Miclas and Agira) to rescue Grace from Sphere-Red King's destruction.
• Windom was summoned to subdue Terraphaser after it was hijacked by Professor Asakage. He was summoned again later (along with Miclas and Agira) to fend off Spheresaurus while Decker fought with Terraphaser.^{[Birth of a Dark God]}
