Gan-Q (ガンQ, Gan Q) is an alien monster that first appeared in Ultraman Gaia.

Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle

Gan-Q belonged to the Reiblood known as Kate. After Fire Golza failed to defeat Gomora during its fight with Rei, Kate unleashed Gan-Q to murder her own monster in cold blood.^{[The Trap in Belargo City]} Later, once Rei was alone and separated from the ZAP SPACY, Kate summoned Gan-Q again to fight against Rei's weakened Litra, hoping to bring out Rei's power. Despite Litra's faster speed, Gan-Q's attacks were able to home-in on the monster, and Litra was quickly taken out of action by the life-form's attacks. Rei then summoned Gomora to do battle instead, but even with his strongest monster in use, Rei's feelings of mistrust (after Kate deceived the ZAP SPACY earlier into thinking Rei was responsible for killing all the people on Planet Boris) caused Gan-Q to overpower Gomora's attacks with little effort. Fortunately, the ZAP SPACY came back around to assist Gomora and Litra in battling against Gan-Q, and with the odds back in Rei's favor, Gomora and the ZAP SPACY worked together to outsmart Gan-Q's attacks until the ZAP SPACY finally destroyed the life-form with a single blast from their Hyper Omega Cannon.^{[Another Monster Tamer]}

Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legend The Movie

Gan-Q was a monster in Ultraman Belial's revived 100 Monster Army. It teamed up with fellow monsters, Eleking, Alien Guts, Velokron, King Joe Black, King Pandon, Nova, Banpira, Fire Golza, Doragory, and Alien Metron to take on Ultraseven in the Monster Graveyard. He was eventually killed after Ultraseven destroyed him with the Eye Slugger.

Later, Gan-Q joined the rest of Ultraman Belial's Monsters in forming the Conglomerate Monster, Belyudra. Gan-Q is one of the monsters that makes up the body.^{[Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legend The Movie]}

Gan-Q was one of the many spark dolls that was in the possession of Exceller and his followers. After learning that Shepardon's sample of Victorium was ten times stronger than that of the crystals they had been stealing, Bolst the Alien Guts MonsLived into Gan-Q to draw out the beast with the monster's absorption abilities. After drawing Shepardon to the surface, Bolst used his duplication ability to split Gan-Q into two copies of himself, thus doubling its efforts to absorb the beast's power. Sho quickly arrived on the scene and was able to draw one of the Gan-Q's away from his friend by distracting Bolst with his Gudon spark doll. This allowed Shepardon to briefly recover and attack the other Gan-Q. However, the first Gan-Q copy switched out for Fire Golza instead, who seized the weakened beast and allowed Gan-Q to resume absorbing its Victorium.

Meanwhile, Hikaru and Captain Yoshiaki of UPG were working on a Magnewave Satellite to intercept Gan-Q, effectively cutting off its absorption of Shepardon's power. Once the Magnewave was set up, Yoshiaki fired it at Gan-Q, which successfully stopped the monster as planned. Enraged, Fire Golza tried attacking the team instead, only to be confronted by Ultraman Ginga and Ultraman Victory once more. With Victory facing Gan-Q, the ultra was initially overwhelmed when Bolst used his duplication ability to bombarde him with Gan-Q's beam attacks. Despite this, the ultra fought back with his King Joe Launcher to disperse of the copies and rescue Shepardon for having more of his Victorium drained from him. Gan-Q was then struck by another blast of Yoshiaki's Magnewave, and Victory immediately finished him off by striking him with his Victorium Shoot, reducing both the monster and Bolst back into spark dolls.

Despite the ultras' victory over the monster, the spark dolls were immediately beamed back to Exceller, who used Gan-Q and Fire Golza along with spark dolls of Melba, Reicubas, and Super C.O.V, MonsLiving all five of them with himself to form the abomination known as Five King.^{[Activate! Ultraman R/B The Movie: Select! The Crystal of Bond

Gan-Q and Bemstar were monsters summoned by Ultraman Tregear primarily to battle against Ultraman Geed, unaware to the ultra that the sinister ultra had placed his friend Pega inside of Gan-Q. The monsters proceeded to attack Ayaka City when they were confronted by the trio of Ultraman Rosso, Ultraman Blu, and Geed himself. As the ultras fought the monsters, Bemstar and Gan-Q used their absorbtion and redirection abilities to keep the ultras at bay, but Rosso struggled for most of the battle when Bemstar wedged him into a nearby building. Despite this, Geed and Blu managed to work together relatively well for most of the battle. Finally after learning of Pega's imprisonment, Rosso switched to his aqua form and Blu switched to his wind form, and the Ultra Brothers freed the alien with their Hybrid Shoot attack. After which, the trio of ultras destroyed the monster duo, with Gan-Q being overloaded and obliterated by a combination of Rosso's Splash Bomb and Blu's Storm Shooting attacks.^{[Ultraman R/B The Movie: Select!
