Mochiron (モチロン, Mochiron) is an alien monster that first appeared in Ultraman Taro.

Ultraman Taro[]
Mochiron was a space monster who had lived on the Moon, believed by Yuko Minami to have been created by humanity when they believed in old folk tales of how mochi was made by rabbits that lived on the Moon. However as New Year's Day grew closer in Japan, Mochiron became enticed by the smell of Mochi that was being made all over the country. Riding to Earth on a gigantic blimp, Mochiron first appeared at the Hakobe Children's Home and gobbled up all the mochi that had just been made. After which, the space monster flew all over the country, landing only to consume as much mochi it could find. It wasn't long until ZAT arrived and shot down Mochiron's blimp, hoping to put a stop to the space monster's gluttonous appetite. Mochiron however quickly became aggressive and fought off the team with its flame. After shooting down their jets and fending off its members with its flames, the space monster retreated by tucking himself into his log-shaped body and rolled away. After fleeing, Mochiron fell asleep in a secluded mountainside.
Later that night, Mochiron was awoken by the appearance of Yuko Minami and Kotaro, who demanded to know why the monster had come to Earth. Mochiron informed them that because Earth's mochi tastes so good, he plans on eating as much mochi as he wanted until he was full, preferably all the mochi in Niigata. After learning that Kotaro was Ultraman Taro in disguise, Mochiron challenged the ultra to a fight, wishing to see just how strong he himself was after eating so much mochi. Obliging, Kotaro transformed into Ultraman Taro and engaged the space monster in some sumo-wrestling. Despite some cheap tricks by Mochiron, Taro was more than the space monster could handle, who tossed the space monster all around until the trio was greeted by a fourth individual: The Father of Ultra. Scolding Mochiron from the trouble he had caused, Ultra Father had the space monster punished by having his body be used to make fresh batches of mochi for everyone that he had stole from. With Taro pounding Mochiron with a giant kine, and Yuko turning and wetting the mochi, the group spent the whole night making batches and batches of fresh mochi for everyone. Once morning came and the deed was done, Ultra Father and Yuko carried Mochiron's dazed body back to the moon from where he came.[1][The Ultraman Father-and-Son's Grand Mochi Making Plan!]
