Neomegas (ネオメガス, Neomegasu) is a monster in Ultraman Decker. An artificial monster devised to elevate humanity to masters of the cosmos regardless of the ethical costs, Neomegas was considered an unacceptable step for humanity and was rejected before being defeated by Ultraman Decker. Unfortunately, the Sphere have no such moral compunctions about its use…

The Spheres would later absorb the cells of Neomegas from one of its spines to create Sphere-Neomegas (スフィアネオメガス, Sufia Neomegasu).

History

A fossilized monster was found in the mountain ten years prior. After being fired from the TPU for conducting biological experiments, Maki Shigenaga continued her research through the aid of anonymous sponsors, and she soon created Neomegas by combining that fossilized monster's cells with cells of various other monsters through cloning technology and implanted a control system into its brain. Neomegas appeared throughout the country and defeated the monsters Sadolar and King Guesra. It would suddenly freeze and then retreated back underground. Shigenaga had used this as a demonstration of her creation to her sponsors.^{[Man and Monster]}

• Neomegas was portrayed by suit actor, Kenji Kajikawa in the series, Ultraman Decker.
  • Sphere-Neomegas was portrayed by two suit actors, Kenji Kajikawa and Yuto Nagachi.

Notes

• Neomegas' suit is modified from the Grigio Raiden suit and designed after Neosaurus from Ultraman Dyna.
