Ultra Galaxy Fight: New Generation Heroes (ウルトラギャラクシーファイト ニュージェネレーションヒーローズ, Urutora Gyarakushī Faito: Nyū Jenerēshon Hīrōzu) is a miniseries in the Ultra Fight format which premiered on September 29, 2019. It takes place between the events of Ultraman R/B and Ultraman Taiga.

In a far corner of the universe, Ultraman X and Ultraman Geed are engaged in battle against dark doppelgängers of themselves on a remote planet. On Earth, Ultrawoman Grigio is training by herself as the sole guardian of Ayaka City now that Katsumi and Isami are at University, when she is thrown into the middle of a battle between Ultraman Zero and a new threat. Elsewhere, Katsumi and Isami (as Ultraman Rosso and Ultraman Blu) are beamed to a new world unlike their own, where they are met by six more ultras.

Ultraman Taro introduces himself to Rosso and Blu, who have been sent to the Land of Light. Taro informs them that Grigio is being hunted by Ultra Dark Killer (the threat that was battling Zero), and Rosso and Blu immediately head off to save her, unaware that Zero and Grigio are already trapped in the Dark-Killer Zone, where their light energy is being siphoned from them. Elsewhere, Ultraman Orb is ambushed on Planet O-50 by the dark doppelgängers of X and Geed.

Ragon
Rosso and Blu are en route to find Grigio and Zero when the duo are ambushed by an unknown threat. Elsewhere on Liquitor, the Planet of Water, Ultraman Ribut arrives to rescue a Ragon from nearly being killed by a Peguila. After disposing of Peguila himself, Ribut receives an ultra sign from Taro. Meanwhile, Orb is still engaged in battle with X Darkness and Geed Darkness, and is nearly defeated until the doppelgängers are confronted by another Ultra: Ultraman Victory.

Rosso and Blu's attacker is revealed to be Etelgar, who has been revived. The demon engages the brothers in battle and quickly overpowers them. Luckily, Rosso and Blu are rescued by Ribut (who has been informed of their whereabouts by Taro) and the ultras flee the scene. Orb and Victory are also forced to retreat from their fight with X Darkness and Geed Darkness. Elsewhere, the real X and Geed are ambushed by a revived Dark Lugiel, who is engaged in battle with another Ultra: Ultraman Ginga.
5 Dark Lugiel After subduing Dark Lugiel, Ginga, X, and Geed flee the scene to rendezvous with the Space Garrison, only to discover that they are also meeting with the returning Ribut, Rosso, and Blu. X and Geed reveal that Ultra Dark Killer created X Darkness and Geed Darkness by siphoning their light energy, and he plans on doing so to the other ultras. Taro also informs everyone that the Space Garrison has had a history with the entity, and that a new plan is needed to stop Ultra Dark Killer once and for all.

On Planet Tenebris, Ultra Dark Killer creates a dark doppelgänger of Ultraman Orb known as "Ultraman Orb Darkness", thanks to X Darkness and Geed Darkness managing to steal some of his light energy during their battle on Planet O-50. After rendezvousing with another unknown enemy, Ultra Dark Killer beckons the new generation heroes to a final battle on his home planet to decide the fate of Zero and Grigio.

Arriving at Ultra Dark Killer's palace on Tenebris to settle the score once and for all, the new generation heroes confront him and his copies, with X, Orb, and Geed confronting their darkness clones, and Ginga and Victory facing off against Dark Lugiel and Etelgar. Rosso and Blu enter the Dark-Killer Zone to save Zero and Grigio, but are immediately confronted by Ultra Dark Killer himself.

Rosso and Blu continue their battle against Ultra Dark Killer while the rest of the new generation heroes continue their battle with their darkness copies and the enemies of their past. Ultra Dark Killer however proves his superiority over the brother ultras by beating them into submission, only to then create a dark doppelgänger of Ultraman Zero from his stolen light energy, known as "Ultraman Zero Darkness".

Ultra Dark Killer unleashes the newly-created Zero Darkness onto the weakened Zero and Grigio, as he continues to battle the brother ultras. With Zero's strength fading from him from sharing his light energy with Grigio, Zero Darkness easily overpowers him. Realizing that Zero is in trouble, the new generation heroes encourage him to keep fighting by donning the forms and fusions given to them thanks to their bonds and experiences with Zero. Meanwhile, Ribut confronts the enemy that was rendezvousing with Ultra Dark Killer from earlier: Ultraman Tregear.

Grigio stands up to Zero Darkness and thanks to her courage, Rosso and Blu are able to merge into Ultraman Ruebe to face Ultra Dark Killer and Zero Darkness. Additionally thanks to their shared power with Zero, X, Orb, and Geed are able to destroy their Darkness copies, and Ginga Victory destroys Dark Lugiel and Etelgar simultaneously. Finally thanks to their boost in power, Ruebe destroys both Zero Darkness and Ultra Dark Killer, finally ending the threat.

Red King II
As Ribut and Tregear continue their battle, Tregear uses some of his darkness to revive and empower Ultra Dark Killer and Zero Darkness to face off against the new generation heroes once again. Tregear then flees the scene and leaves Ribut to face off against a pair of Red Kings that were summoned by the dark ultra. With their strength restored, Zero transforms into Zero Beyond to face Zero Darkness, while the new generation heroes power up to their strongest forms, and Rosso, Blu, and Grigio merge into Ultraman Gruebe for them to face the now titanic-sized Ultra Dark Killer.

After a short tussle, Ribut destroys the Red King duo in Tregear's subspace. Elsewhere, the new generation heroes bombarde the gigantic Ultra Dark Killer with their attacks, pushing the dark giant to his limits. In a last-ditch effort, Ultra Dark Killer uses all of the stolen light energy he has left to empower himself and grow even larger in size. However, Taro arrives on the scene and urges the new generation heroes to fight back by merging with Ginga's Storium Brace for one final attack...
13 Ultraman Tregear

Ginga obliterates Ultra Dark Killer, and with it, destroys his palace of darkness. The new generation heroes are overjoyed that the threat is finally over, only to be confronted by Ultraman Tregear, who is revealed to be the mastermind behind the events that have transpired. Tregear spitefully warns the new generation heroes that he's going to attack the Land of Light, leaving Rosso and Blu to join the new generation heroes in following after him. However wih Earth in need of a protector, Zero sends Grigio back home.
