Ultraman Agul (ウルトラマンアグル, Urutoraman Aguru) is the blue giant born from the light of Ocean, who awakened during the threat of the Radical Destruction Bringer.

Personality[]

Ultraman Agul fights with the raging power of the seas, to defend the Earth… though not necessarily the humans upon it. Though his relationship with Gaia was contentious at best, once misunderstandings between the two were cleared up, they have become a mighty team, more than capable of beating back whatever threats come from space.[1]

Behind the Scenes[]

Portrayal[]

Ultraman Agul's suit actor was Kazuya Shimizu (清水 一哉, Shimizu Kazuya).

Notes[]

  • Ultraman Agul is the first Ultraman in the franchise with a primary color of blue.
    • While Ultraman Dyna is the first to heavily featured the color blue in his Flash and Miracle-Type forms, Agul is the first Ultraman to feature blue exclusively in his V1 form.
  • Although the 2017 multiverse chart showed Gaia and Agul to belong to the World of Planet Kanon as well as their original world, Agul along with Hiroya Fujimiya are virtually the same characters as they were in the tv series..
    • This may be due to the way Agul arrived in that universe being the same as the way he was reborn in the original series, implying Gaia and Agul could have multiple homeworlds.
  • Initially a concept art in "Ultraman Design Works" by series designer Hiroshi Maruyama, Ultraman Agul Supreme Version first appeared twenty-three years later in the Ultra Heroes Expo 2021 stage shows.
    • The original artwork featured the same mask as V1 and V2, however the finalized suit design features a larger forehead crystal.
