Ultraman Ginga (ウルトラマンギンガ, Urutoraman Ginga) is a Japanese tokusatsu drama in Tsuburaya Productions's Ultra Series. It is the 24th series overall. The series started on July 10, 2013.

Synopsis[]

At the climax of the Dark Spark Wars, all of the Ultras, monsters, and aliens were turned into Spark Dolls (スパークドールズ, Supāku Dōruzu) and fell to Earth. A young man named Hikaru Raido takes hold of the Ginga Spark (ギンガスパーク, Ginga Supāku) which allows him to become Ultraman Ginga and to return the monsters and Ultra warriors to their previous giant forms. Hikaru fights with his friends to face off against the darkness.

Spark Doll Theater[]

In addition to all the episodes in the series, an end segment of the episodes known as "Spark Doll Theater" features Ultraman Taro (still in Spark Doll form) as well as a cast of rotating guest Spark Dolls showcasing the Monsters of their respective episodes (as Spark Dolls to represent them). The segment displayed while tidbits of the Monsters as well as the Spark Dolls' personal take on the Monsters of their respective appearances.

Black King and Thunder Darambia introduce the segment, telling viewers what to expect from it. Ultraman Taro however (who is the guest) only complains that he wants to be big again.

With Ultraman Taro absent from the segement (after certain events,) Black King, Thunder Darambia, and Kemur Man introduce their next guest, King Pandon. who reveals to be twin sisters due to possessing two heads. With one head being polite, while the other head is mean.

When Black King and Thunder Darambia fantasize over Misuzu's outfit that she wore, King Pandon catches them and calls them perverts. Black King and King Pandon get into a fight, unaware that their new guest, Ragon, is left hanging, unable to introduce herself. Meanwhile, Ultraman Taro still remains trapped.

The other Spark Dolls are in shock at the appearance of Tiga Dark, wondering how the cast will deal with him due to him being an Ultra instead of a Monster. Black King however decides to lighten the mood by pulling a joke.

With the first half of Ultraman Ginga having concluded, the other Spark Dolls get confused, believing that the show has ended. During the ruckus, Ultraman Taro returns from being kidnapped, only to resume complaining when he'll be big again.

The Spark Dolls are all asleep during the segment, only to be hastily woken up by Thunder Darambia in order to do their segment. By the time they realize the segment is going on, they're too late to continue it. Ultraman Taro concludes the segment by informing the audience that the Ultraman Ginga show will resume syndication in November.

The Spark Dolls are happy that the series has resumed syndication, but Taro remains uneasy at where the future of the series willl go.

Red King
After Red King introduces himself, he is greeted coldly by Black King and Thunder Darambia, who are jealous of Red King being Spark Lived by Misuzu, only for the two monsters to be scolded by King Pandon and Ragon for being perverts. Meanwhile, Ultraman Taro is fascinated by the fact that Red King was the first monster to be summoned by a Ginga Spark.

After witnessing Ultraman Dark and Ultraseven Dark being turned back to normal, the other Spark Dolls wonder what Ultraman Taro would look like if he was corrupted, teasing him by giving him the nickname, "Black Taro," to Taro's irritation.
