  • The comic series began with a similar plot to its source material, but later deviated into an original story.
  • Many elements of this comic appear to be taken from the 4Kids English dub. Examples include the setting being in 2049, Yuzare helping Daigo awaken Tiga via telepathy, Daigo's cover story of "ejecting at the last minute", and a few of the names being held over, such as the Color Timer being referred to as the "Biotic Sensor" and TPC Headquarters being called the "Citagon". That being said, many elements from the original series do remain, such as Captain Iruma remaining as level headed, no jokes about characters' hygiene, and Tiga's companions being real. Other names such as "Multi Type" and "Spark Lens" remain as well, and the term "Luminizers" isn't used for Tiga's attacks, despite being unnamed in the Japanese verision.
