Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga (ウルトラマントリガー NEW GENERATION TIGA,Urutoraman Torigā Nyū Jenerēshon Tiga),[1] or simply Ultraman Trigger,[2] is a Japanese tokusatsu drama in Tsuburaya Productions' Ultra Series. It is the 33rd series overall. The series premieres July 10, 2021 on TV Tokyo.
The show's name was trademarked in China on December 28, 2020, and later in Japan on January 19, 2021.[3] This series commemorates the 55th anniversary of the Ultraman series and the 25th anniversary of Ultraman Tiga.[4][5] Emulating the core "Tiga" story elements, Ultraman Trigger can be considered a new generation Tiga with a brand-new story.[6]
Synopsis[]

The Terrestrial Peaceable Union hurries to gather the expert team GUTS-Select, while Kengo Manaka lives peacefully on now-colonized Mars as a botanist.

Whilst based on Ultraman Tiga, the series draws most of it story and setting elements from Ultraman Tiga: The Final Odyssey, with the Giants of Darkness becoming the main antagonists.
The series was broadcasted by Tsuburaya Productions through their official YouTube Channel with official English subtitles.[8] The episodes would be re-released again a few weeks after their initial run on YouTube, with multi-language subtitle options for international viewers.
The special cameo episodes with Haruki and Z are directed by Kiyotaka Taguchi, the Main Director of Ultraman Z.[9]
This series does not have its own Voice Drama spin-off like previous Reiwa installments, but is instead followed up by Galaxy Rescue Force Voice Drama.
