Basic style guide for editing and creating articles. Users will need to read and familiarize themselves with the following in order to contribute to articles. Policies listed here are for usage in articles. Unless stated, they must be followed across the wiki, without exceptions.
Perspective
- Articles should be written with In-Universe wording. With the exception of the Trivia section, phrases like "in Episode 10" or "in the later half of..." should be kept out of sentences.
General writing style
- The content of this wiki is expressed in English. This is an English language wiki and all edits are expected to be carried out in English (with exception to the Japanese content required via technique, powers or skill names determined by the content of the series).
- The official translations are to be used for names of terminology, moves, titles of episode.
- Evidenced mistranslations can be changed.
- Avoid the use of obscenities, slang terms, and euphemisms in articles. They can be used only in the context of quotes from characters.
- Keep the tenses of articles/sections consistent.
Images and other media
Main article: Image Policy
For specific, detailed guidelines regarding the upload and use of images for this wiki, please see the image policy.
Infobox Images
For character infoboxes, landscape oriented photos and vertical portraits are acceptable. Screenshots are typically landscape. Exceptions from the landscape guidelines are Mecha and Monsters.
As for the framing, it is preferable that the head of the subject make up 1/3 of the photo.
Quality
As information new arrives for each season, different qualities of images can be found. Please note the priority of what quality we can use.
Renders

These are seen in Ultraman categories and individual Ultraman articles. The important thing is that the suit design is clearly seen. Quality priority applies.
If you are removing a background from an existing Ultraman suit image via image-editing software, please ensure that the image edges are properly cleaned and that the image quality is retained.
Rendered images of Ultra Kaiju suits are not high priority. Photos of Ultra Kaiju are favored.
