Yametarans (ヤメタランス, Yametaransu) is an alien monster that first appeared in Return of Ultraman.

Return of Ultraman[]
Yametarans was an alien that was kidnapped from his home planet by another alien named Sasahiller and used as a weapon to conquer other planets. Sasahiller often took advantage of Yametarans's ability to emit "lazy radiation" from its body, causing anyone that came too close to him to act lethargic, which caused Yametarans's size and appetite to increase drastically until said planet would be conquered by a combination of Yametarans looking for food, and Sasahiller commandeering it due to the race's laziness refusal to fight back. Despite this ability and his unfortunate circumstance, Yametarans was not an evil alien, but simply a troubled soul who only wanted to go home.
Upon his arrival on earth in a tiny capsule, Yametarans was discovered by Masaru, a lazy and aloof classmate of Jiro. Yametarans's radiation quickly spread all throughout Masaru's city, causing everyone to act equally lazy and aloof as well. Sasahiller watched on in amusement as the population became lazier and lazier, and Yametarans's size grew more and more. Becoming hungry as well, the alien began attacking the city, feeding on whatever he wanted, with MAT unwilling to fight back due to being effected by his radiation. Goh, having learned about Yametarans's circumstances (after having a few telepathic conversations with the alien) managed to fight off the radiation long enough to transform into Ultraman Jack to handle the alien himself. After a rather clumsy short battle between the two (with Jack being effected by the radiation, and Yametarans eating causing him to become heavier). Jack managed to end the fight quickly by using the Ultra Bracelet to shrink the alien back down to his original size. Jack then returned Yametarans back to his home planet by hurling the alien into space, quickly curing everyone of his lazy radiation. [We'll take Earth!]

- Although not seen in the film, Yametarans is one of the monsters that makes up the body of Belyudra in Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legends The Movie.
